When you need to refund an order, you can do this entirely via Dintero's plugin, whether you have WooCommerce, Magento, NopCommerce or Optimizely (formerly Episerver), without having to do anything with the order in the Dintero Backoffice. A refund will usually take 1-3 working days before the money is back in the end customer's account.
Note: For an order to be refunded, it must already be completed. Orders that are only authorized (Status "Processing" in WooCommerce) cannot be refunded. These must then be set as "Cancelled". You will not incur transaction fees on orders that are cancelled, but there will be transaction fees on orders that are refunded.
Click on an order, click on the "Refund" button.
Set accordingly Number on the product lines to be refunded (the sum is then automatically updated).
If you are going to refund the shipping, you must put the sum which must be repaid on this row.
Finally, press Refund NOK **** through Dintero Checkout.
In a few cases it may be necessary to refund payments through the Dintero Backoffice instead of through the plugin. If you do this, you will then have to refund the order manually in the plugin since Backoffice does not send refund information back to the plugin.
Start by navigating to the relevant payment by logging in backoffice.dintero.com, choose Payments in the left menu and click on the relevant order. Then, tap Pay back.
Then, mark the item lines to be refunded and press the button at the bottom to confirm the amount to be refunded. With the exception of invoice orders, you can also edit the sum of each product line to be refunded. The button at the bottom will reflect the updated total when you edit the total on an item line.
Finally, you must update the status in the online store so that the inventory in the online store is correct. Follow the same procedure as in the steps under the WooCommerce section, but when you are going to press the last button, select Refund DKK **** manually.
